Hi everyone

I've been looking for a nice TFT monitor that is fit for gaming. This display should have a native resolution of 1600 x 1200 and the smallest size that supports that is a 20.1". The displays that are currently available in this size are 16ms (those that i know of), but I require at least 8ms or lower, however. The question is should I wait for the next generation of LCDs (due in the next coupla' months???) or buy one of the current ones? Also, isn't the price range for these mofos about 800-900 eur?

Sry if this topic has already been posted. :poke:

Right now there are no 8ms LCDs above 19" (That I know of)
AU Obtronic has a 20" and 23" pannel that peforms like the VP191b tho.
I dont know when its going to release on a LCD, but it looks like the best LCD above 19", and its even better than a lot of the 19" LCDs mentioned in the LCD guide.

Problem is when will it release and how much will it cost

Will probably come with a very 'high-end' price tag, and I doubt it'll release within the next few months. If you REALLY need an 8ms display, I'd just get a vp191b. If you really need 1600x1200 and the 8ms is not truly required then a display based on the LG/Philips 20,1" S-IPS panel is your best bet. Examples of TFT's using this panel are the Viewsonic vp201s and the Dell 2001FPW

Yeah I was thinking about the Viewsonic vp201s, but I am no sure if it will be fast enough for my needs. Mods can now delete this thread :)

Thanks for all the help
