As the title says, I just received my new DFI NF4 Ultra-D. I'll be using a 3200+ Venice and 2x512MB Corsair BH6 in the board. On my DFI NF3, these sticks did 265 2-2-2-3 with 3.5v completely stable. I'm expecting atleast this. Here are my questions:

1. I have a fairly good idea on timings, but if you have BH5 or BH6 and can share your entire list of timings with me (drive strengths/skews/tref/etc) that'd be greatly appreciated.

2. I don't know what bios my board shipped with but I plan to flash to the 510-2 FIX bios, should I flash to a different one after or what? What is the best bios for BH5/BH6?

3. Any other tips/tricks I should know before diving into this? I have it set up on a table and played a around a little last night. What's is errata performance in the chipset options?

Thanks guys.

I'am running bh5 too you should try the 510-2 Bios from Merlin and maybe the one from bigtoe. For tref i use 3120, i've tested a few other but htis is the most stable for me so far. Drive strenght 3-1 works best for me, but you should try 5-x and 6-x first :)
Hope this helps a little bit,
best of luck ;)

Here are the settings I use with my 2x512MB Corsair BH-6 3200C2v1.1:

Oh, what slots for high voltage/low latency mem guys? Orange or yellow? I'm in orange now.

Tref 4708, Decrease Skew 255, Drive Strength 8 IIRC, Data Drive Strength 2 and orange slots.

Read my signature, there´s plenty of information ;).

My sticks are overclocking a lot worse in this motherboard than they did on my DFI NF3. I've played with nearly every drive strength and seen slight help from 3+2. I wonder if it's this memory controller.

What I would really like to know is: Is Dual vs. Single channel really such a huge difference concerning the overclocking results, or is it something else?

Ahh...now this is better. Nothing a little 5.0v jumper and the 510-2FIX bios can't handle. ;)

I have not seen any disadvantage by Overclocking with or without Dual Channel. If there is any, its because of some sucky MC´s!.
