I gave up on the P4T533 long ago, Alt-F2 doesnt work all together?

IIRC there is an option to disable Alt-F2 somewhere.

The alt-f2 works, it just keeps telling me wrong file size in the patch

PS as for the board I was one of the lucky ones, been able to boot into windows @ 177x4:banana: with some heavy rambus voltage

I have both boards, the P4T533 and the Epox 4T4A+.

Now, in the beginning the Epox would only run stable at 140/4x while the same stick ran 145/4x at default vrimm.

But now, after buring in the rdram, I can do 151/4x but it's not Prime stable at all. I keep it at 149-150/4x with vrimm at 2.82v.
I find this board undervolts the Vcore only by a lot. Setting 1.85v in the bios which is tops, results in 1.76v.

Now, the Epox is nice and stable, BUT, I can't boot past say 154 at 3x. My 2.8 can do it too. On the new Asus wit the changes they made, I can boot at 170/3x. The Asus board Overvolts the Vcore my a lot. Setting 1.82v in the bios gives like 1.92v.

My take is that the 850E chipset is terrible at oveclocking CPU's.
I mean you can OC, yes, but the cpu needs more vcore and doesn't go as high as on other chipsets.

I'm deciding on which board to keep. The Epox undervolts vcore but has Rdram adjustments and Highpoint Raid.

The Asus Overvolts on the Vcore, but no Vrimm adjustments even though I modded the board for it, plus it uses Promise Raid.

I'm leaning toward the Asus cause i think it's made better and it boots fine at high FSB and 3x. I'd rather use 4x of course but this sticks sucks as you can see.

What kind of rdram are you suing for 177/4x, Samsung or Kingston? What Vrimm?

This is me and my buddy's hardware review site. I hope you like it! :)

Here's a review of a one of the very old boards so it's not glowing, but here is the Vrimm mod. Enjoy

That IS for the P4T533 ONLY!!!!!!!!!

The Epox let's you go to 2.92v on the ram already. No need for Vrimm mod.

Just in case anyone is interested I found some hacked bioses for the raid chip on a P4T533, to full raid or just speed improvement

Have flashed mine to UDMA so I can use 4 seperate drives on the raid controller, works perfectly.
