Today I received my Swiftech MCP655 pump and was looking at how to mount it onto my case. What I need to know is, does this pump have to be mounted upright (like it would with the bracket that is attached) or will it work fine if I decide to mount it with the inlet facing up and the exhaust horizontal?
Cheers

From the German Manual

So anything but upside down goes.

The Ecocirc pumps (D1-D5) are available with different housings, this one is Model 700 B, B obiously for brass :P They offer no usefull advantages for Watercooling over the Noryl versions (max pressure 10 bar for brass vs 1,5 bar for Noryl, water temp range -10 - 95 °C for brass vs 0 - 60 °C for Noryl), and the noryl version has a better inlet design imho.
I only got it because it was the only one available at the time and no German shop offers the D5, so I had to order it through a plumbers wholesaler. http://www.lainginc.com/ might be able to point you in the right direction, if you need versions with different housings or the overkill Autocirc series, they got a list of local reps on their site.
edit: I forgot to mention the brass versions are rather pricey.
