I just swapped my BD7-II for my P4PE board with my 2nd 2.4B cpu

2.4B with modded Igloo4300 heatsink and smartfan2 75cfm fan (http://www.fileshosts.com/igloo4300/modded/igloo4300006.jpg)

memtest86 test #4 looping

with my portable air con turned on in the garage (room temp 26-28C), it can reach and pass at:

164FSB at 1.625v
165FSB at 1.675v
166FSB at 1.775v in bios cpu temp is at 47-49C
167FSB at 1.8v in bios cpu temp is at 50-52.5C / in winxp cpu is 44C

with portable air con turned off temps rise (room temp 31-32C) and FSB falls :(

memtest86 test #4 looping needs more vcore and fails at 167FSB

passes 166FSB at 1.8v in bios cpu temp is at 50-51C
fails 167FSB at 1.85v in bios cpu temp is at 54-56.5C

highest FSB the pc even boots at is 175FSB but fails memtest

well i did these benchmarks in my garage with the portable air con turned on :)

managed to be able to pass memtest86

164FSB at 1.625v
165FSB at 1.675v
166FSB at 1.775v in bios cpu temp is at 47-49C
167FSB at 1.8v in bios cpu temp is at 50-52.5C / in winxp cpu is 44C
168FSB at 1.85v in bios
169FSB at 1.85v in bios i get 3 errors in test #4 on the 9th pass

The blue reduction spacer is the mod?

You should be able to sqeeze a litte more from a copper HSF.

Create a win tunnel with the AC to blow as close as possible to the CPU

does your P4PE overvolt the vcore as well? 1.5 for me is 1.625 :eek: i got the worst 1.8 C1 ever. :mad: :mad:
