Main rig just went down

Apparently ripping streaming audio, watching an .mpeg, listening to music, having IRC open, and having about 10 different windows open isn't a good thing.
Playing the movie was what did it. As soon as I opened it I got one of those great BSOD where it dumps physical memory to disk.
I loaned out my boot disk so I won't have her up and running till tomorrow. There goes about 4 WUs till then. :mad:
At least the dually of doom is still up and running. Who says Win XP Pro won't stay up for a month at a time. :D

Dang, this PC hasn't even been connected but less than a day & look at my receive bytes compared to ya'lls. Dam my SVCD addiction ;)

I guess I shouldn't try to have 3 CPU intensive programs open at once. :D

At least your going phil. Right now my dual rig is running a FTP server, 2 instances of F@H, and batch encoding 4 movies through TMPGEnc, So i can fit them onto Standard size DVD's, dam dual layers!!!!

That would kill my main rig or slow it down to molasses.

I've go 10 rigs going and all set up through remote Destop connection through my main rig. So WINXP pro for me, simple as that.

I made my XP corp disk bootable, any plenty of copies. I've had the same XP install since FEB, and 4 different Motherboards!! Havnt had a clean install yet, some repairs though for new chipsets. but still going.
