hello
im kinda new to water cooling
right now im workin on finishing up my new system
its an amd 3200 thats going to be phase changed
i plan on running at 300x10 and thats pretty high voltage for the chipset.
right now at 1.5V running at 2300mhz it idles at 43c and at load its up to 50c
and the fan is constantly running at 7300+ rpm.
the fan has gotten really annoying and i think water cooling is my only option
aside from dice.

can someone please suggest a waterblock that will clear my x850xt pe that is right above it.

thanks.
Rich

Looks sweet for what it will do but the fact that it is soo small its got to be very restrictive on the wc setup. If the flowrate wasnt hurt to much I might be tempted to buy something like that.

flow rate is good, and it can be mounted serially with a pump around 700 litres/hour or higher

I think you guys need to read up on Maxxxracers posts. Read This (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=54331) You don't need a chipset waterblock. You are going to need a excellent pump to push it through. Get a lower RPM fan such as the Vantec Iceberq from here (http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=51035)

Or better still, do what I did on my old NF2 board. Get a Vantec Iceburg 4, the ATI version, and drill new holes as far out as you can and the pins will reach with just a little angle out. Cools much better than the regular Vantec NB chip coolers and has the cool blue leds :)
