I recently bought from Newegg a pair of 4800-1GBFR sticks I'm running them at stock speeds and I keep getting blue screens when I'm playing games.

Vdimm 2.8V
2.5-4-4-8 2T
TRC 17

I'm going to do run Memtest86+ tonight and tomorrow. If I have any errors I'll post a picture later on.

Edit:

I ran Memtest86+ for 16:38 hours and it did 39 complete passes and found 12 errors. I'll post a screenshot as soon as I find a digital camera. Meanwhile could someone tell what can I do?

Edit 2:

I already post this on the Gskill forums, and I havent received a reply to my question yet.

Vdimm 2.8V

try Vdimm 2.7v or even 2.6v, mine do not like +0.3 over 2.7v

That is crap they should run 0 errors at any voltage. I mean is stock speeds for christ sakes!

Either way I'll try that tonight, but I still believe is crap they should run at any rated voltage! It sucks that I have to figure out what voltage I have to use.

Look at the screenshot!

try running the ram in single channel, just to see if the errors go away

Dedicated myself to test this modules last night. Tested them at 2.7V, 2.75V, 2.8V, 2.85V, 2.9V. Nothing works at stock settings. Someone has any other ideas than return these sticks?

Same happened with my FF sticks. They would error out at stock DDR600 and DDR550 timings and had a crapload of people blaming me . Returned them to Newegg and got myself 2 gigs of Crucial Value

Try 1T command rate, see what happen.
The command rate is a controller thing.
Try use TRC 7~9.

Max, async 8ns and read preamble 5ns.

I dont know A8N have this option.

My mobo did not support 1T. I got an Epox 9NPA+ and RMAd the sticks, when I get my new parts I'll post some results.

Why dont you use DFI-Ultra D?

I heard more bad things about DFI than good things, and in OCing suposedly DFI comes first and Epox comes second. That is why I decided to go with the Epox.
