I have one on order. I figured might as well see how well the do.

I am also waiting to get my board back from MSI. I figured I would take advantage of the free energize offer.

Anybody else running this yet and if so how well did it do?

I have a set coming in for review, should be here this week sometime. Gonna look at performance vs 4 x 512 of redline. (looser latency vs 1T)

I'm debating about these too. I know someone who has em over @ Guru3d and is very happy with the results. Running @ 270 1:1 although at admitedly rather lame timings. But i guess thats to be expected right now with 2GB kits. Still, OCZ has never failed me b4 :) and seeing as tracer is no longer an option around here, i might well have to take the plunge.

Ya know I think mwave.com is still listing 1GB sticks of Tracer PC4000. They are about $240 a pop though.

I wonder if any more competing products will be introduced in the next week... I wonder if someone here on the board is able to comment.. :o

OK I couldn't wait until next Friday so I went ahead and ordered a set of OCZ DDR500 2x1gig from Monarch, they should be here on Friday or Monday at the latest. I'll post the results once I get them. IMO they should do very well, altho I think the A64 memory controller plays a big part in OCing with 2x1gig sticks.

My sticks will be here today - I am going to try to get our review up by the weekend. I will at least post some results here against 4 x 512 2T.

EDIT - the CPU with the PC4800 was 305 not 312 - so all tests are at 2.75 Ghz. I'll fix that this week when I add the 2 x 1GB results.

Heres what we've got so far...

@dnottis
will you also make some test about the max fsb/htt with different and probably tighter timings? would be great! :oscar:
