I was stumbling around B3D and saw this thread:

I was curious if someone with a GTX could run it and snap a screen. I'm curious how many different clocks there are, and what they run at stock and when you overclock the core. Since on G70 they are clocked differently (as opposed to NV40) i'm curious. Seems very interesting. Also, which part causes the most bottlenecks?

heh heh...G70 is indeed NV47. IOW: Marketing at it's finest:

Perhaps nv48 = 7800U?
nv50 = G80?

Even though nvidia said they cancelled these products, they really just changed the name...Prolly so people would think GF7 is new and not refined GF6 tech, which it indeed is...instead of being assumabley a refresh, they just made the gf6 refresh gf7, and nv50 (assumingly G80, supposed to be GF7) GF8.
