View Full Version : mx510 mouse problems, again!
OK, here is the problem. Mx510 occasionally stops responding for 2-3 seconds. Tried several usb ports and ps/2. It can be anywhere, games, windows etc. Newest mouseware drivers installed.
1st mouse served 6 months without problems. Then RMAd. Now 2nd mouse served only 3 months and the same problem started :slap: I guess I'll RMA it again but I was wondering why does it happen. :slapass:
wow...that blows....what did they say the problem was when you did your first RMA?

I never had problems like this. Ive been using the mouse for about 2-3 months now
Try installing the CD driver, not the online drivers.
It could also be your BIOS settings. Maybe something with the USB mouse and keyboard recognizer option

There is a program around for changing the usb refresh rate. Search it up and try if it makes any difference upping or lowering the refresh rate. I have no link for you and I'm having dinner in 5 minutes so I can't search for you.
They didn't say much, just that mouse stops responding occasionaly and that's it. And the problem is that they have to test it for a very long time because it happens much more rarely in windows than in games and they don't play games :p:
I know about that program, it is called USB Mouserate Switcher. Also tried CD drivers. It doesn't help. I don't really know what bios settings I can change since there was no problem for 6 and 3 months respectively. Though both times it was DFI NF4.
