Need to now what the best bios is for mushkin redline and dfi nf4.

0704 has be recalled because of a CPU voltage bug. When you use anything more than 113% you may overvolt and kill your CPU. Use 0702-2, it is safe.

Just stick with 623-3. Flashing BIOS is serious stuff. Don't flash to 704 unless you need to. If 623 works fine, then you should stay with it. I plan to start from 623-3 and flash to newer revs IF NEEDED.

No it's not, it's just like upgrading your browser. Everyone should do it, they just think they can't or think they don't want to. 704-2 is good.

I hated the 3.26 table so I never use -3 bioses. 3.10 and 3.25 never really disapointed me though.

0704 is not good. Use it if you like but you have a risk of frying your hardware, don't say no one warned you. :stick: Thread (http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16500)

Well most people on DFI-Street will tell you to use 623 if not 510. There's no point in upgrading to a BETA bios. If 623 works and you have no issues, stick with it. Talk to Rgone and Angry. It's not like upgrading a browser. Upgrading browser doesnt have as serious implications as BIOS.

Now considering 704 is bugged and has been taken off at most places, I suggest you stay with 623. Now if you have some boot issues or whatever, you can try 702, and POSSIBLY the 704 bigtoe mod.

I'm running the 706...I think its the bigtoe mod...cpuid only up to 113%

There is nothing serious about updating a bios, it's a very simple thing.
