Hello, i am talking from Brasil, i inttend to buy this motherboard, i have a MSI video card but i already bought a Athlon 64 3000+ Venice and...:

1- This motherboard MSI has good parts? are they durable?
2- i do not inttend to do overclocking, but i read several good comments in Newegg.com telling about this mobo it is very good but some guys told me it has a noisy fan Northbridge. A question: which motherboard for socket 939 64 bits is very quite? silencious? ABit AN8 Ultra? or non Ultra board? thanks in advance! :woot:

I use it for one of my PC's.
It's stable, very. Overclocks a lil. Causes hardly any troubles. Chipset fans' quiet. Quite~

One thing, if you want to use the onboard sound, make sure you PSU has a -5 rail.
Highly recommended.

Most good quality PSUs have a -5v line. just check the specs :). -5v isn't used widely with current PCs, but in the odd case it might be (like the onboard audio on that board for example)

chipset fan on this motherboard is the worst crap. After only 2 months inside a Coolermaster STacker enclosure, this NB fan @ 8000 RPM makes more noise than a vacuum cleaner. I can't stress how angry I am at the companys who implement untested fans like these. What am I supposed to do now, buy an aftermarket cooler? RMA it? I mean I spend money on this thing and its only 4 months old..
