Retrieving stuff from old OS to new?

Hey.

My WinXP install stopped working when i installed my volt modded A8V, as the Core volt mod was giving 1.4Vcore to the FX so it kept rebooting and blew the partition so it wouldnt boot on it at last.

Now the Core volts are adjusted to be just fine.

And the old OS files are intact but it wont boot on it.

But how can i transfer all of my old programs ETC from the old OS to my new fresh XP install?

Did you re-install on a different drive or partition?

repair the installation using the CD first in order to make sure file security is intact. then you can use the file and settings transfer wizard if you want to do a fresh install....JMO

Well it wont even boot on it, but as its on the same drive i got the files over i needed.

JMO= Just my opinion :D

You don't need to boot on it, you boot from the install CD and run a repair on it....point is moot if you got everything though, good news.

Yep got it.

Well when it repaired it, it just said something with "ntoskrln.exe" bein corrupt at boot.
