how to unlock BF2 weapons?

i cant to seem to find anywhere on a guide that tells you how to unlock other weapons. such as the other sniper etc.... anybody know how? or where theres a good website that has a guide to do it?

uh did you buy the dvd version or the cd versioN? i'm pretty sure all the weapons are unlocked in the cd version

You have to get global points to unlock them. E.g, 1000pts. gives you one unlock of your choice, 10,800pts. (I think) gets you another unlock, And so on...

wow....after a few hours logged i dont think im anywhere close to the 1000 mark....i had no idea the second unlock was that high....wow

i dont know what world you are living in.

to get your first weapon unlock you have to get to lance corporal (1000 pts.)
second unlock is at corporal (10500 pts.)

third at seargent (25000 pts.) and so on. if you didnt know you get to pick which weapon you want.
