got a 2x512mb set from computerhq as newegg, etc not listing them anymore(out of production?) only listing a version 2 ocz gold. started burning them in as per a guide i found either here of dfi street. the epox 9npaj i have been using while the ultra-d is in rma (had to clear cmos at every cold or warm boot or would not post) has vdimm up to 3.1v, but bios and USDM read it as 3.17. the ram went up to 237mhz @ 2/2/2/6 before i started getting errors, so this is my starting point for the burn in, which is test 5 loops. the first pass had 161 errors, by pass 3 it was down to around 90, by pass 17 it was 6 errors and since pass 22 it has been looping with 0 errors. never having used utt/bh5 before i find this amazing. when my ultra-d gets back can i reasonably expect 260-265 at higher (3.4-3.6) vdimm or do these stix max out around 245-250 like "original" bh5? i am noob with bh5/utt so plse excuse noob question.
very truly yours,

You can never say if a chip OC's with more volt, 240MHz could be the max, but I guess you have some good oc'ers there.
But nice work you did there with burning-in your UTT.

Nice results. Maybe with 3.4 or 3.5 u should be able to get around 250 2-2-2-6. Although, Like Vassili said "You can never say if a chip OC's with more volt". trial and error.

old bh5 didnt max our at 245... try around 275.
i have 4 sticks that can run DC at over 275mhz 2-2-2-2 on my ultra-d.
all are 2003 production date bh5. KHX3200.

Yes, most "old" BH-5 maxed around 275, some maxed even more with Xtreme volts.

He's talking about 2x512Mb. There's quite a difference from 2x256 in terms of how high they'll go. But if you're saying that you can run all 4 sticks @ the same time @ 275 and those timings, then :worship: :p:

I have OCZ EL Gold from Newegg as well
they do 240 MHz error free @ 3,17 in test 5 but gets errors in test 6
Is it because of bad timings they errors in test 6 instead of test 5 ?

Thinking about trying some of this stuff out soon. I'll post some results when I get it.

much of the new bh-die chips will get you around 260 with burn-in. I had to burn mine in and tinker around with the timings before I could get 260. Be prepared to use at least 3.5v to get close to 260.

I've hit 275 with 2x512, it eats voltage in monstrous proportions mind you.

Not most of them do this.
And I guess you are talking about SPI 1M stable, isn“t it?
