I'm just wondering if I would have any problems running one stick of corsair XMS tccd and one stick of G.skill tccd. I have one stick of XMS, and one stick of my dc pair of LA's clocks alot better than the other. If I was to use the good clocking LA and the XMS, would I have any big problems, as far as anyone knows? Thanks

no. but you will have to run at the speed of the slower stick ...

really gonna come down to voltage and timings. If they run close to each other then you shouldn't have any problems.

ok, thanks

I just wanted to make sure that the two sticks being different brands wouldn't cause a big problem.

depends on what someone's definition of "big problem" is. If you consider not being able to reach 300 MHz a big problem, then I think you might have a big problem. :p:

I guess they both have to be either 1 sided or double sided. And you might get lower clocks. I remember I had 2 sticks of corsair TCCD but they were not dual channel optimized and I couldn't overclock them. It was on Intel board though.

Ok, I'm forgetting about my corsair. It's worthless. It won't clear memtest at 260 2.5-3-3-8

That will run without a problem...
I was running a gig of OCZ BH and a gig of Mushkin Redline CH together with no problems even!! :)
