Well, actually, Manchester cores are currently E4, Toledo are E6. Venice was E3, San Diego was E4, but both San Diego and Venice (and Manchester?) have been moved / are moving / will move to the E6 revision.

This was announced by AMD in email to customers back in June.

Semprons also (as they are from Venice die) are going to E6 now.

You'll see that so far, they are listing "BX" Semprons, "BW" Venice, and "CD" Toledos as E6 parts.

Still waiting for E6 San Diegos and E6 Manchesters to be listed.

(Note that the CD 4200+ and 4600+ you'll see listed now are 1/2-cache disabled Toledo die, I think.)

"BV" Manchester 4200+ and 4600+ are listed as Rev E4.

Check the errata PDF. E6 stepping has some minor fixes which don't really affect anything.

You are in for a disappointment if you think you are going to get a 4200+ Toledo - at least full cache ones!
