No MB for it right now. I have a Vapo LS that I could put on it and 1GB of BH-5. What I want to know though: is this a historically good OC'er or should I try my hand with a newer 90nm FX-57?
Why buy a new one when you don't even know how your current CPU performs

The good FX55's are from week 40 and up, but there were goods ones from earlier weeks too but not so many like in week 40+.

Frecableguy - I have similar FX55 to yours, and they seem to top out around 3120-3180mHz.....on the VapoLS which I used. I tested mine, and 2 others on it, and that was my results. Of course where I live in Durban South Africa, we do have a little elevated temperatures, around 30 deg C ave summer, 20 deg C ave winter daytime temps.
So I doubt you will get any higher than that really at 1.675V, with single-phase most of these FX55 Claw cpu's seems to get unstable past that vcore.
FX57 90nm you won't get past 3450-3550 benchable on the VapoLS, at those speeds it brings the VapoLS to it's knees - provided you have the earlier LS which could handle 240W heatload. Again, our ambient temp may scew things.
Keep us posted.

It's the best I've ever seen. I ran 3dMark @ 2900 and could boot @ 3G on a MSI NF3 Board. This is one of the few screenies I have of the cpu before I installed it in a dfi nf4 board which killed it:
EDIT: I forgot to add that this screenie was done with bad contact on the evap. After correcting it, my temps dropped ~10C.

My father (ojdr2001) had an 0442 that could run PI 1M @ 3400Mhzs, r404a cooled. One of the best weeks for sure =)
