i just got this from newegg a few days ago, and now i can not get even a 10% OC on my P$3.0e :mad: :mad:

mo other OCX 4000 gold 2x256 works great and i can get a 20% oc with it.

am i doing anything wrong?

these are running on a asus p4c800. so i am a little upset with that ram atm..... :(

How much volt are you giving them and at what fsb and timmings?

just stock 2.85 volts, 2.5-3-3-8 and 220 fsb, for my vx and windows will not start up :(

2.85 volts 2.5-4-4-8 and 240 fsb for my pc4000 gold, rock solid and stable :)

you need 3.2V to get 250 2-2-2 mate, 2.85V is useless for VX.
what motherboard you on?

The vx line don't like cas 2.5.
I had to give mine 3.0V to install winxp 200Htt 2/2/2/8.

p4c800 doesn't like UTT...apparently...

i do believe you're better off with old school BH5

damn, there goes another $175 bucks. i guess ill have to get another mobo and cup to run this memory i got to upgrade my system..... arrrggg
