sorry for the question, but what is the safest voltages my axp 1600+ can take on air (volcano 7+)
i have an epox 8rda+

thanks in advance.:D

I have had mine up to 1.85 on air w/ no problems:)

You are using a good silver bearing thermal compound aren't you?

oh btw the cpu is a palimeno they have a higher defalt voltage and i think can take more volts then the t-bred

fReakIsHPC's, IMHO i wouldnt go over 1.9v on air. depeneding on your temps. anything higher then that with air cooling might not like your cpu. if u can run stable at 1.9v w/ good temps then ud be lucky.

id suggest you get artic silver 3, and a really high cfm fan if u plan on useing more voltage.

I'd say you could probably run up to 1.9-1.95v on your CPU and give your memory the full 2.9v.

Just keep an eye on your CPU temperature and if it get's to 50c loaded, then you may want to back off a bit.
