windows..why bother with anything else ?

ive got a mate who seems to think windows is the greatest thing since sliced bread. he reckons macs are crap, all you need is shed loads of memory, a fast processor and some good software, he thinks linux is useless because windows is the standard, no one ues linux and its not worth learning and he says why use unix when you have server 2003.

linux is only a pain because it needs configuring and is why its so adaptable. Each o/s has its own purpose and excels in that area which ultimately causes flaws in others, you cant compare them.
