Ok my rig is in sig below. The air cooled TEC used to work awesome but has always had alot of case temp. I am having trouble with the system locking up during game play (World of Warcraft) I believe it is the video card (shards even when under clocked) and my older athalon xp 2000 is fine so I am sure this is a issue with something being "broken" I am going to build a new rig and want to rebuild this one for the girlfriend. for the old rig I was think adding another 1Gb of ram the same stuff, replacing the 9800pro, and bringing the OCing down to stock or 3.0g. So the only thing I am not sure of is cooling.
My new rig I am open for ideas. From start to finish.
A few concerns.
I just bought a house and paying my power bill was nice till I started useing the comp 2-4 hours a day. It makes the room go from 77*f to 83*f
So I want the computer to run cool as well as not make the room hot (both comps one room. 12'x12') I was gonna try water cooling but held off till the new comp.
1. computer runs cool
2. ambient temps stay reasonable.
3. noise (i hate that 92mm tornado)
I was think both comps water cooled on same using one large pump and maybe a water chiller outside.
Key is good perfomance and low power usage I know I can't have both but I want a good happy medium.
Thanks in advance,
Darrell
P.S. let me know if I should post this thread else where.
