I did a new install of Win2k for the duallie that I set up & 1 of the first things I loaded was F@H as a service & all was fine & dandy...that is until I installed Roxio Easy CD Creator...it prompted me to reboot & when I came to windows I had the same issue that I have w/ my PC @ work. The console starts up w/ windows fine, but it won't hide. Any1 got any ideas as to why its doing this or how to fix it? :)

deinstall firedaemon, reboot, reinstall firedaemon & F@H
what does that give as a result ?

I think EasyCD fiddles with services & system files

that's why the older version hosed WinNT & Windows 2000 installations :)

I'd rather not use firedaemon if I don't have to :)

Perhaps I'll try uninstalling EZ CD Creator & then reinstalling F@H & see if it fixes it....if so, I'll have to see if a new version of EZ CD fixes it ;)
