Hi guys ,

My pair of 3200VX has been an alright one , doing 257 2-2-2-5 with 3.4v . I was plenty satisfied with it , but the thing is I keep getting the cold boot issue and working my way around it to POST everytime is getting on my nerves. I love the tight timings , but I can live without it for some stability. So I've started looking for something not too pricey , in 1gb or 2gb ( IF CHEAP :D ) flavours that'll do at least 260+ 2.5-3-3-x , wich is REALLY not so hard to do at all .... as long as it's stable , i'm sold.

Can you help me make a decision please XS ?

Cheers :toast:

AFAIK only CH-UTT has cold boot issues so just avoid Redline, VX, and TwinMOS SP AA4T and you should be fine. It appears that BF2 is really benefiting from 2GB of RAM so it may not be too long until 2GB becomes the new standard. A lot of companies are going to be releasing 2GB kits soon so I would wait to see which one performs best. As of right now I would choose Ballistix Tracer but I've heard its discontinued.
