Got my prometia up and running. Using the chieftec black tower on top of the white unit that I will eventually paint black. Looks pretty good together. Running AXP 2400+ at 2715mhz evap temps -30C at 2.025v. Starting stability test now. Ran at 2631mhz overnight at 1.9v. Using Epox 8RDA+. Alot of $$$$ and some initial hassle(see thread in prefab vaporcool forum) but seems to be doing well. Chip was previously top stable at 2400mhz with Maze3 watercooling.

Congrats! Great news there! :D

I've had my prommie for about a week but I have no "cpu-kit" to hook it up with. Still waiting for Hardwaregods.net to send it to me :(

thanks for responses guys

I have had the system looping 3dmark for about 8hrs+ at that speed. It did drop to desktop once though on one of the first loopings at I don't know how many hours. It was running probably 12+ hours at the time as I had it going overnight and then in the AM it was still going. Went to inlaws for X-mas and when returned home monitor was on standby. Just cue'd up 3DMark again and started looping demo and was on this AM so I consider that to be fairly stable, but I haven't done much else with it. I don't have a good digital camera so I won't have pics until a friend comes over or such.

The stepping if I remember correctly is a week 43 AIUGB brown pcb chip. It didn't oc that well on H2O but I think part of that may have been my Enermax 431 PS as I now have the TTGI 520 and I think that may have made a difference too. I think I might have 50-100mhz more in the chip as I could go up a bit more on the vcore I think. Evap temps are a bit high though at -28C which tells me this puppy is really putting out some heat. Can't rely on the damm Epox temp report as no diode reading and I get like 18C in MBM reading socket thermister.

Will run some benches today and post later. Wife will be nagging at me shortly to be with family so I need to wait until she goes to her moms house to play more. I don't expect 3dmark to be as great as it could. I am running a lower fsb than I would like due to multiplier limitations. I can use up to 12.5 or I can use 15x. 14x or 13.5 would be ideal. 200mhz fsb is stable for benches but not 100% long term stable for day to day operation. Until I new bios comes out for the + board like they have for the non plus that allows all multi's I will have to wait for my really good scores.

thanks

JN good score with a 2400+/9700PRO combo! :toast:

Is your 9700PRO with stock cooling? try some better cooling on it, perhaps water cooling, 379/337 seems too low, at 400Mhz on the core you should have a good increase on your score!
