Had to send them back because one stick stopped booting :slap: When I sent them back I put a some tape on the bad stick so they would know which one was bad stick. Tell me if you notice anything...
This is a picture of the original set

Replacement set

The original set is two sticks with matched serial #'s while the replacement set is the one good stick from my original set and a new stick. This isn't a big deal to me at all. As long as they work I'm happy.
So I set the voltage in my bios to 2.8 and plugged in each stick one at a time to see if they would boot. Both booted no problem. No problems booting in dual channel at 2.8v either. :)
Initial results

I have to wait until I get a new 92mm fan for my zalman bracket to push them past 3.4v since I've only got a 30cfm 80mm fan on them now I don't want to take any chances.

Yes, no freaking idea :P.

Why RMA stuff that is working ?
If "one stick stopped booting", then that seems like a reasonable cause for RMA don't you think?
If purchased as a set, then both sticks have to be returned should one of them be defective.

Not only did just one stick stop booting ALONE it would cause both sticks not to boot together in dual channel. If this isn't a reason to RMA I have no idea what is, so I have really no clue what you guys are talking about when you say "why rma working stuff" Mushkin requested I send both sticks back even the good one.

Glad I got things cleared up a bit. :) I've never heard of a memory company asking for only the 1 bad stick back of a DC kit.

I had the same experience MeatFrog - one of my sticks died and i sent it out for RMA - unfortunately though i didn't have any pics to see if i recieved my working stick back - but they DO request both sticks back for a DC kit, just like OCZ and others - although i have to say that was rather dissatisfied with Mushkin's RMA service - it took them almost 2 weeks to get my sticks back to me. Any time i've delt with OCZ RMA they will cross ship my sticks with 2-day fedex service. So i don't know if just RMA'd at a bad time and they didn't have any sticks or what - but it definitely took way to long and was in "Testing" for over a week - too long in my opinion. Just my $.02.

No problem yet *knocks on wood* but I haven't pushed them past 3.4v yet either. I tried my first cold boot this morning after them running all night at 250MHz 3.2v. Booted up no problem. We will see what 3.5-3.6 yeilds once I get a new 92/120mm fan for my zalman bracket. :)

Mushkin's RMA service was top notch for me. But that is probably because I was in contact every other day with either a sales rep or rma rep. They shipped them back to me via Fedex overnight because I told them I need them back asap. I shipped them out last Tuesday and the ram was received by the RMA department late Friday, got them back yesterday(Thursday). This was with the RMA department supposedly "backed up" so I'm satsified to say the least.
I've heard nothing but great things about OCZ's warranty/RMA process. They seem second to none in those concerns. :)

I think I was giving them more voltage than they needed in that first screen shot. Just did a 16M run at 255 with 3.2v. Keep in mind these are only being cooled by the Panaflow on my XP90 and a 30cfm 80mm fan until I get a new one. :) Also I was just testing stability so excuse the slow time I was listening to music on itunes while it ran. :p:

How about SuperPI 1M - 260MHz 3.2v :D
http://img324.imageshack.us/img324/1042/redline26032v1m2ax.th.jpg (http://img324.imageshack.us/img324/1042/redline26032v1m2ax.jpg)
Tried a 16M run with the above settings and of course didn't finish. :p: System seemed starved of voltage so I kicked my cpu and ram voltage up .1 and 16M was no problem.
SuperPI 16M - 260MHz 3.3v

This however was not 3D stable and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why because the ram wasn't responding to more voltage. So I took a nap and when I woke up it came to me, give the mobo a little more chipset/LDT voltage. DUH!

Did a 3DMark05 run as quick 3D stability test, finished no problem. :toast:

Wow you're really lucky, because I hear people needing like 3.6V to hit 260...

Are we getting Xtreme yet?

Had to enabled the DRAM+ 0.3 option and do a little tweaking with my settings to obtain this. I highlighted what I had to change for you guys. Also since my CPU can't do much past 2.9GHz 32M stable on air I had to change the divider back to 1:1 and lower my FSB. Sucks for my SuperPI times. :p:

Are we getting Xtreme yet? Gosh yes. The Redline is great but I'm also liking that CPU with its 1.39v for 2.65ghz. :slobber:
What are the drive and data "strength" settings and Tref in the bios set at? Bios version?
Oh ... BTW - thanks for changing your avatar. The last one was freaking me out.

Those are some nice tight timings guess :) Your FX has a MUCH better mem controller than my venice. Even by venice mem controller standards the one on this chip isn't that good so I probably won't be able to obtain timings like that. :( I'll give it a try though! :D

yea give a try
cuz Wind told my that E3's mem controller is good.

Seem to running in to a problem that I didn't have with the first set. For some reason I'm having a problem with the 180 divider. These sticks are PRIME stable 265 3.4v but can't even do 263 on the 180 divider. 263MHz on the 180 divider is what I was running my previous set at with no problem.
So I need input on things to try. I'm about to try some different bios and see if they help.

Which slots are you using?? yellow??
Do you recommend me to change my Winchester 3200+ and go and get a Venice 3200+?? COnsidering my winchi does 260x10 1.36V (at least with TCCD it did) and 270x1.48V (also with TCCD). I am still testing my Gskills UTT-BH.
