Hello, I have the dfi lanparty nf4 ultra. Right now, my 3000+ is at 2340mhz (260x9). I was able to get it up to 2403mhz but prime95 was able to only run for 16 minutes so I lowered it. I'm pretty new at oc'ing and I think what I'm forgetting is raising my cpu voltage. Is that called the cpu vid control in the bios? And should that be raised all the way up to 1.55v (the max the bios allows) or lower? Also, how do I change the command rate for the memory to 1T in the bios? I'd like to get it up to at least 2.4ghz stable if possible. Then I'd like to oc my x800xl and I've never done that so I may need some help with that too. Thanks for any help.

My cpu temps under load (folding is on) is 42ÂșC, chipset 48ÂșC.

hi

yes, with stock cooling you can give 1,55V that isnt very much its sure safe dor 24/7, with ambient temps.
ehm with the dfi nforce4 you can change the setting in: dram settings i dont know exactly name think like CPC enabled but its the 2nd option in dram settings whichyou must set to enabled.
hope you cool the XL with water gains sure more because they arent know as high clockers. but you can do the vmods on techpowerup or search here for it you ll find enough.
the ati tray tool (overclocking tool) is currently very nice in my opinion.
