Hello,
As a noob with OC stuff, I’m not finding much info of results OCing a 4800+. So I would like to ask fellow OCers here to share info on their 4800+ purely for compare & trying to improve tweaking my system as seen in here:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v412/hht55555/3109.jpg

I know that every system is all difference even having the same parts, but I want to know in general ball park figure where I’m at.

This is my quick attempt OC a 4800+ on a DFI SLI-DR & my concern right now is the vCore. Does 1.66V vCore seem too much!?
And also I will let Prime95 going more.

Again please share your 4800+ info & of course and advice & comments would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time & helps.

Regards.

you need to run two instances of prime95 to test for stability because of the dual proc. what type of memory do you have? i would suggest raising the fsb and lowing the multiplier.

YEAH, what HE said, what kind of ram do you run??

11 x 275, 2.5-3-3 would be better!

Thanks babalouj & charlie for your quick responds.

It's a 2x512 G.Skill LE.
Here is quick spec:
DFI NF4 SLI-DR
Vapo LS
BFG 7800GTX SLI (only single for now 'cause soon they'll be on water with NF4 chipset & MOSFET)

I will try to get it to 11 mul & dual Prime95 soon

My 4400 needs 1.5vcore to run at 2640MHz stable on both cores. That's air cooled with an XP-90C.

Thanks pancake & NickK for your replies.

Able to run dual Prime stable on 295x10 @1.55V. After that a lot of juice (1.65v) are needed for both core dual Prime stable @3.1. Not sure that I want keep vcore that high.

Will try with Windows x64 to see if it can be improved in 64bit world.

Also trying to get 2x512 Gskill 4400LE @295- 1T, 2.5,3,3,7 but seem like I'm hitting the wall right now :( .
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Do not apply SLI mode when you bench other than 3dmark. :)
