ATI will first release Crossfire and then will follow up with R520 or should we say with two R520 boards breaking some 3Dmark 05 records.

...

choosing a graphic card or multi rendering platform is like a religion. You are either ATI or Nvidia and you won't make the move for nothingI've seriously had it with Fuad. Since Inq guys won't sign any NDAs, he can seriously know zero about any "R520 boards breaking some 3Dmark 05 records", why can't he just stop with his pro-ATI stance officially and be professional about his job instead?

I get more and more frustrated every time I read his texts. He always has to make them political for some reason - or "religious" if he wishes. One should stay very sceptic to what the Inquirer says in general, and Fuad in particular. Or, take The Inq with a pinch of salt, and Fuad Abazovic with a bucket.

It's actually very hard to be pro-ATI right now...What you see here is ATI releasing little bits of info to a medium that most of its target market keep track of one way or the other. Ofcourse it should be taken with a pinch of salt, and that's what most ppl do...Speculation is buzz, and he's in the business of it. But pro-ati is a tad harsh. I'd say he's giving a view that doesnt shut off ATI entirely from the scene...which unfortunately is the case right now. But on the other side, would you be prefer doomsday predictions about ATI then ?

Remember, saying someone is biased towards one side always carries the burden of sounding like you prefer the other. ;)

To me, the inq gives tid bits of sometimes inconclusive info that gives me an overview of what is going on in the tech industry if I've been away for a few, but by no means do I think its the be all and end of all of all hardware news sites. It merely tries to keep its site updated with supposedly "new" information to turn the reader away from its relative lack of credible sources ;)

First of all, let me clarify: The Inq isn't pro-ati at all (imo), just Fuad (actually he's written himself that nVidia considers him to be an ATI fan boy, in some attempt to hint something to the readers maybe? that "confession" (as in not trying to hide any suspicions from his readers...not as in he actually said clearly he was fan boy) made him rise a lot in my eyes, I hate it when people try hiding this sort of stuff). "Religion" was his own words, right?

I can almost instantly tell when Fuad's written something, for some reason, in that it's at least being a tad bit ATI biased. Always. I've been reading the Inq daily for a long time, and my own experiences and impressions say that he is always writing something good about ATI (either praising or excusing ATI) or something bad about nVidia (or simply writing "facts", when there's nothing bad to say). Maybe this is just me, but I wouldn't list him much higher than Tom of THG, when it comes to neutrality and reliability.

In some sick twist of fate, though, Fuad's actually been working against ATI in a sense, since he's been building up great expectations of the readers for the upcoming R520 (launch dates, availability, performance, yields etc.).

Come on, you're not supposed to take the Inquirer for fact. The call themselves "The Inquirer" after all (I wonder if non-Americans know what I'm talking about). But it does give readers a chance to hear what the latest industry rumors are, and there aren't many other places you can find that.
