:D C'm on guys - the day has only 24 hours.........., can't do everythin' at the same time......... ;)

SIOUX is right - will keep my XP on SATA RAID 0 and add a 3rd removable IDE disk with 2K ( AND the MPS/UNI tweak & DX 8.1).

So I can easily plug off my SATA HDDs and bench with 2K on the IDE HDD and the other way round if I remove the IDE drive I'M on XP again with my SATA drives....... :p:

Once you have Win2K installed, 41K should be a walk in the park ;) Your 200Mhz higher than me, card clocked a bit lower, can't your card go higher btw on water, mine did 660/660 on air.

:D O.K. - DX uninstaller worked - but I didn't get it reinstalled. Tried 10x - neither 9.0 nor 8.1 :stick:.

Had to backup my HDD :confused:

But no problem at all - get an IDE drive very soon, will install WIN2K and DX 8.1 there and thats maybe good for 41K or more......... ;)

My vid card is only watercooled and there is the chipset also in the WC circuit so it is maxed out at 645/648 (ATI tool max core/ mem finder) and I set it save to 642/642.

Was a bit tricky with the VDDQ - 1.75 was too much (freezes) - 1.70 gave me only 598 and 1.72 now is best.

So I'm not unhappy with the card - won't do any mods more cause X900XT PE will be released soon.

Now going for stable benching at 3.6GHz - have to mod my MACH II GT for it.

Will be regassed with R507a, gets a second condenser and a better insulation.

we had some runs above 820 core also but that was with the lower pci-e port because we had to cut some of the foam around the cpublock to get it to fit in the port closest to the cpu, the score sucked big time with only 8x pci e
