Sweet-looking unit you've got there, Ssilencer. I really like the side panel. And as for your clocks, just get a Newark 3700+ and you'll get up there - especially with those evap temps. ;)

Very nice unit. The little green cable is an usb cable for controlling the g-froster?

Ssilencer
07-13-2005, 06:47 AM
The green cables it is in fact 3 cables in one, one goes to pwn on the motherboard, second goes pwr button on the case, third goes to a molex to check 5v.

Hehe, so i'm wrong. No software interface yet on the g-froster?

Yes, there is software interface, but the serial conection is installed in the back of the unit, where it belongs :D
I will take a pic of the back later.

it seems for me, that you are doing some advertising for this controller than presenting a single stage unit in this "vapor phase chnage cooling" forum.

please show some pics of your unit like compressor, brazing and so on ;)
thanks

I believe the Serial connector is on top of the two a/c connectors in this picture, and a ribbon cable leading to the board (might be unhooked as yet?)

How did you make the case and what mesh/holed metal is that and where can I get some? :)

I believe the phase change system is in the background, out of the case. And probably connected to the froster in the case. Its probably being tuned under load before being fitted in the case ;)

John.

How did you make the case and what mesh/holed metal is that and where can I get some? :)

It was a 2mts x 1mt perforated aluminium sheet.
It was made in a folding machine, then brazed and a lot of work involved.
It was made by my Friend Aitor, he is a hell of a craftman, and he made some of the better wb in the world ;)
As pytagoras said, the phase change unit was out of the case for tunning , I will post some new pics later
I think all the SS units are really similar, not the cases or electronics.
