This server is for Battlefield 2 btw.
I have my server all ready to go but it doesn't seem to want to host internet games.

heres the stats:
2.4northwood@ 3.2
p4c800-e deluxe vdroop
256mb ram
rage pro 8mb pci card
dell psu
wd 40gb hd

now I just want to host a 12 man server.
I have installed the bf2 standalone server only not the actual game.
I have disabled my windows firewall and enabled DMZ on the servers IP.
and in the server configuration menu I checked the box that said 'internet'

im not sure what else to do now anyone have any ideas :stick:

no firewall on the pc and dmz for the game servers computer ip should do it...are other computers able to interact with it on the lan? ping, conenct to a shared drive etc? umay want to go ahead and add the ports that game uses to the server anyways, or add port forwarding for those ports to that server. what router are you using?

I can connect to it through lan on the game, I just cannot see it through the multiplayer server list.

Pm it and I would add some ram to that thing 512mb sticks are under $40... Battlefield 2 is a very demanding game
