Help! Contact Problems with Mach2!

Well I just setup my new Mach2 and I got contact problems. First I recoqnized there's no go with IHS removed (original Socket kit), now I glued the IHS back on, but still it's really hard until impossible to get good pressure on the IHS. I have to use as less sealstring as possible so that the copper head connects to the IHS at all. What to do now ? :(

When I was running a Mach I, I did 2 things to help that out. 1) Shave the base plate to the cpu kit (the little feet at the bottom). I did that just by sanding it, much like lapping. 2) Get additional washers for the screws. I ended up with real tight contact after all that.
