Hello guys...
I made a cascade for a friend yesterday.
Both compressors are aspera 3/8. First stage r410 and second r503.
Evap is made by eleven.
I haven't tunned-full insulated it yet.
Enjoy some pics :)

What about discharge pressure on first stage?
Hm, very simple cascade, no safety devices, expansion tanks, receivers and oil separator?

I wanted to make a very simple cascade as you send. I have make several cascades in this way and i never had a problem.

i think if you have SPECIFIC heat loads you can make them even smaller with the less parts needed.
but with computers and heat loads varieting it's too dificult to get the maximum out of them making them so simple ... IMHO ...

i dont disagree with u but it is working. No need to make it more complex. Plus it costs less and it is smaller. I have made cascades with oil separator, expansion tanks, txv and i didnt gain a lot. Those things in my opinion is better to use them with bigger compressors, such as rottary. In small cascades there is no need. Except the safety devices.
very nice unseen.
so you have seen no problems without oil seperator.
looks good.

cost is something else, im sure that if you give it specific heat loads (close to the loads it's tuned for) it will work pretty fine. switch it from a dothan to a prescott and you'll kill it's performance
you don't expect gain from a fully equiped system, only stability in performance + flexibility on heat loads.

it is not made for my dothan bro. It is made to cool 200-250watt cpus.

@fast can you send me 1150?
for l 1150 I want 3 months to us, for having 3kg why it must arrive from France.....:(

Wow cascade without oil sep. ??
Can you said me how it can work ?
You don't have oil clogs without oil sep. ?

I think it won't work for long time, oil will slowly stick in line after interstage heat exchanger and some day it will make "pffuuuu" ;)
piotres, if you want make you cascade's life time longer and avoid some of painful problems, use oil separator
