Hey guyz, I am having issues with stability in OCing my system. I can run 3dmark and gaming benchmarks fine, but when I run Prime95 it craps out on me.
I have heard that a single 512mb Stick of Corsair is better for OCing that two 256mb sticks ? Is this true? Or does dual channel setup hinder your ocing also? Running memory in non dual setup with two sticks make any differnce? Any experiences will help me thanks.:D

The following quote from Anand's nForce 2 6-way roundup, "Test and other notes" page may provide some useful info;
"...we should mention that you must install Windows XP SP1 before you install the nForce v. 2.00 drivers, otherwise USB 2.0 and NVIDIA's own IDE drivers won't be installed. You can still install Windows XP without SP1, but NVIDIA's IDE driver won't be installed (you'll be using the Windows IDE driver instead) and USB 2.0 won't be installed either. "
I don't know if this applies to your dilema, however they chose to use two 256MB sticks of Corsair DDR400 in the nForce 2 boards, while reserving the Corsair 512MB DDR400 module for the KT400 board. I hadn't found any pertinent info for their reason behind this, but perhaps you may. The first link below is the page where I got the above quote, and the second link below brings you to your motherboard (MSI K7N2-L):

Mmm....I dont think I can get stability due to the fact that this mobo only has 1.8Vcore max. Sigh, should of went Asus.

Can't find a volt mod YET, but I bet one will arise, especially for those who have Palamino's. Here's another BIOS/overclocking page from AMDworld: http://www.amdworld.co.uk/k7n22.htm
