does the nforce 2 chipset unlock the multipliers on throughbreds like the kt400 chipset does? im thinking of selling my A7V8X to a friend and gettign a A7N8X instead.

i know it unlocks the 1700-2200+

Apparently it doesn't unlock the B rev's. It unlocks my 1700 just fine though.

well i know the new BIOS for the Epox 8rda+ unlocks the B chips...not sure if Asus has one...if not then u can unlock it by crossing the 5th L3 bridge

Not sure about Asus N2 board as I am running an Epox but shouldn't really be a problem as default mutiplier is 13. 13x190 is 2470mhz, 13 x200 is 2600 mhz. I'd think that is somewhere in the wheel house you should be lookin......goldie

both the epox and the asus unlock the multipliers, cant say of the abit as its the only one I havent tried yet...
