All who find vmods are electrician experts ? I have the basics of the electricity, I can use multimeter and soldering iron, I know the laws and so on, but I'm far from an expert :D
What are the basic steps or disciplines of finding vmods ? You just search for the voltage regulator then figure out something from the datasheet ?

The board itself (http://www.ocworkbench.com/2004/asrock/k8upgrade-760gx/g2.htm)
This would be the victim, when my parents finally go on vacation, Ill check the chips, maybe I can find out somthin :)
Higher Detail (http://www.ixbt.com/mainboard/asrock/asrock-k8upgrade-760gx-sis-760-gx/mb-big.jpg) Which chip should I look for ? For nbridge voltage.

In fact I cannot remove the retention bracket.

I cant, no cameras available, just this schematic draw. I'll cut the circle marked piece off cuz its impossible to pull it out.

Tomorrow I will utilize my digital multimeter, and search for vnb reading point and vcore reading point.

I'v found the Vdimm and the Vchip reading points, amazing that the nb does 277 fsb with only 1.2v. I've found the vcore too. This silly mobo gives 1.5v to my winnie sempron.

I've tried to figure out a Vdimm mod, but I have failed. They relabeled the IC thus I cant do anything with it. Anyone? Suggestions ?
Here is the area : http://www.overclockzone.com/spin9/review/mainboard/asrock/k8upgrade-760gx/DSC05177.JPG
The Vdimm reading point is the missing capacitors + leg, or the left leg of the mosfet(the right leg reads 4.3 the left 2.59). I assume the voltage regulator is between the capacitors, but it says 4500M and I cant find datasheet. It looks similar to the http://www.madshrimps.be/gotofaqlink.php?linkid=2406 RT9209...
