Instead of brazing can you use an arc welder like this one:

because i already have one these at home.

Yes u can use ark welding that what they do to seal the dome on a compressor.

Nice and cheap, you should give her a try ;)
It would be very interesting if this works because normal torches and the gas needed for it are too expensive for many people.

you can only electric weld copper with a TIG welder, maybee he posted the wrong pic.

while copper can be tig welded, for the application of joining copper tubes its a very poor choice.In fact probably the worst. First, tig welding requires a very high skill level, second even the best tig welder would have extreme diffuculity welding small diameter tubes like used in phase change. Third a good tig is expensive and a cheap one will not have advanced wave and current control making it even harder to produce a good weld with.
stick to gas welding (brazing)for refrigeration tubes.
