Hi all....

I don't know what's going on here. Probably my own fault.

Rig in sig......
Was working perfectly but i wanted to use the new Leadtek BIOS for the 7800gtx's so i took one out and used winfox 2.0 flash utility to flash the BIOS in windows. Everything went well and my clocks now read 450/1250 as expected.

So i took that card out and successfully flashed the other. Again that worked out fine. So i put both cards in with the bridge on.....to my horror the PC crashed @ the windows loading screen!!!!
I reset the BIOS defaults but it happened again.

I took the 2nd card out and successfully booted into windows with the 1st card. Then i tried with a single card in the 2nd slot again boots no problem.

I cannot boot windows with both cards installed. I even tried a new full reinstallation with the same symptoms as above.

So i tried flashing both cards back to the default BIOS which again went without a hitch.

But EVEN THEN the symptoms remain.

Why won't it boot??? If there was a BIOS problem surely the indicidual cards wouldn't work. And if there was an SLI problem then it would simply not let me enter SLI mode.

HELP PLEASE!!!

problems with your bridge? check for loose connectors and such....scan the bios options for something you might have flicked by accident....just look for problems with your bridging hardware...i could be completly wrong but thats the only thing that strikes me as going wrong and producing those results...hope that helped
