before I go taking my whole PC apart for a few hours of benchmarking, with a my cascade, I want to make sure, theres a good chance this doesn't have the cold bug.
it takes quite awhile to prepare for a session with the cascade, and quite awhile to insulate everything right. so its not something I wanna do, if I am just gonna find my CPU has a cold bug.
so, has anyone ever seen, or tried a venice CPU at -100C or close??

I'm wondering why it's called a cold "bug"?

It's the shortest thing we could think of.
My sandy doesn't even work at -50C.

i just want to ask a quick question.
I've never ran my PC without a casing before, but I'm itching to try overclocking the OCZ Value RAMS a little,so I'm taking the mobo outta the casing.
Can I switch on the computer on the DFI mobo box, or should I have that white thin plasticky sponge on the base? I don't want my computer to go short.

my -65C autocascade played nicely with a Venice 3500+ I had for a few days...

Kunaak, its hit or miss from what I've seen posted. No way to know without trying.

It doesn't. I just find the cardboard easier because your mobo is elevated you can be sure you wont accidentally push the edge of a screwdriver under it.
