I'm getting no response in other threads so I'll just make my own topic:
I have a p4c800 (non e non deluxe) here and the 10001 bios doesn't work for me:
First off, although the sticky says you don't need the bootblock trick, i did need it since it didn't' want to flash because off the non-matching romid.
flashed first time with afudos 116 with /n /pbnc command. when the flash is finished, it asks to reboot and when I do, everything spins up but I get no visual.
I flashed again with the latest afudos. it reboots fine... once. then i have the same problem.
when i reset the bios, it boots but again, just once. when I select load defaults and continue, it reboots but same problem: no visual.
now I've done the same thing with the latest beta bios for the P4C800 (1021b_04) and this bios seems fine apart from 1 rather anoying thing: it shuts down instantly when I reboot be it by shorting the pins or CTRL+ALT+DEL.
also, I get this really odd "language" if you can call it that when I insert my windows cd: http://img282.imageshack.us/img282/2558/img05045wf.jpg
both biosses also gave me random discolored bios screens (usually appleblueseagreen boot screen instead of black and brown bios screen instead of blue)
