Celeron M 370 (1.5Ghz,400FSB,1Mb L2) + CT-479 + P4P800 SE

Hi,

In the 1st day of contact with Celeron M 370 i achieved this:

Overclock: 1.5Ghz@2520Mhz (168x15)
Super PI 1M: 37.407s

Asus P4P800 SE
Asus CT-479
Intel Celeron M 370 1.5Ghz 400FSB 1Mb Cache L2 c0 stepping
2x256Mb DDR400 (OEM vdata chips, sucks)
Stock cooling

I had to raise the vcore to 1.5v, how much more can i raise with stock cooling without damaging my precious cpu?

Any sugestions of a good 2x256Mb Dual Channel DDR400 to increase the performance?

Glad to see another Dothan guy. For your memory needs, maybe the PDP Patriot 2 x 256mb XBLK [TCCD]. For $114, its a nice buy. [I got me a set]

Now on your voltage 1.6V is ok, but i suggest decent cooling.

2nd day of overclocking

The cpu doesn't go beyond 160FSB no matter what vcore (1.6v max) or memory settings :mad:
Any sugestions?

With the cpu at (160x15) and memory at 200Mhz (4:5) with 2.5-3-3-5 (best i can do) i have achived this

Bought an Asus A9550GE to help the party, clocked it at 450/250

maybe it helps when you set FSB533 on the CT-479 ? AFAIR the FSB 400 s479CPU's cannot go that high with FSB as FSB533 usually do.

why you didnt Overclock your R9550 ?
with Volt mods and good cooling you can get good marks
