;) Unfortunatly I do not - I'm self employed and have family - so I have not enough time to do all the benches.

And so far I only dealt with 3D'01 - I'd have to learn about all the other bench programs that will be used in the contest and I'd have to find the best settings for each program.

This is unpossible for me - but it really doesn't matter to me.

Gettin' WIN 2K soon and a 1GIG pair of MUSHKIN REDLINE 4000 - then I'm going to break 40K with the new OS and I'll see if I can get an improvement by using 2x512 - should benefit from the mem bank interleave even if the REDLINE's do not 280 but maybe 275.

Next step will be to buy a FX-57 in a few weeks....., San Diego core also gives 3D'01 a push.......

:D Yep - 2K is faster. And if You do the R/P tweak or the UNI MPS tweak with 2K You can get 1000 - 2000 points more in 3D'01.

XP is very comfortable - don't get me wrong but I call it a "program for retiered" :p: .

And that's the prob - XP got too much applications running so it's stable and easy to handle - but slower than 2K.

Well that won't happen since I fried my card :( . Also I don't set up 2k1 on xp drives anymore I just had it on that drive due to some testing. I was actually surprised with my score on that one. :)

Well actually still have that one sitting at home. I have another X850XT that's going through RMA if it gets replaced then I'll be bk in the game for now I am just beating up my X600 which seems to be doing nicely. :)

:D That's right - R/P tweak is a tweak detected by Ricky & Pedro Rocha. Using 2K You can set the CPU to MULTIPROCESSOR without a new install of OS.

But some ppl failed and lost their OS - I never tried it.

I did a test on this forum with MPS UNi VS R/P tweak. just cant find the thread where i posted the results right now. it seems that MPS UNI is a bit faster than the R/P tweak, and it dont heat up the CPU as much as R/P tweak do :) but both great tweaks for sure, but MPS is faster and more stabil acording to the tests

So the WR is dedicated to EUROPE - german-danish co-production.

for 3360MHz and 640/640 you should be getting like 40k+ with some tweaks.
check my run,same 280mem but 1x lower on CPU than yours and work till you let me behind.Will be a great skill improvement.

same OS,same GFX,40MHz more on CPU. Surely,i bet RUNMC had better clocks on his x850xt but i want you to look at not-so-much GFX clock dependant tests:CL/CH - LL/LH

I would say that with those 40mhz extra on HCC´s CPU 1:1 would almost equal the LL,LH & CL,Ch score. +- some tweaks :) And car low if variate so much, that with enough runs he could get ther.

:D This won't happen - 3,36 is absolute maxed out for my FX-55 with Mach 2 GT - about 189 watts output.

Cause my rig is a 24/7 system I can not use a cascade (BTW also lack of money for it !) so the only way to increase my CPU speed is to buy a FX-57 which I will do possibly in a few weeks.

Depends on the future results to come up here - if there is no real difference it is maybe cheaper to go for FX-55 San Diego.

Will have to start benching after having such a long break ;)
I got 39k+ at 267x12 iirc with an aircooled xt pe at 590-630. Was using Win2k though, iirc correctly and I did not really know what cat driver to take and so on.

/edit. No OS tweaks when I was benching that one^^ lost evidence with my old IBM HDD :(

I know I can get 40k easily now... ;)

:D O.K. ppl - to clear up the things: The FX is still the old one I bougt last year. The card is also not new - bought it 3 month ago for 385 € which has been a low price in Europe that time.

So the only money I had to spend to get the record was 1 € for a 2B pencil :p: !!!

That's all - I just didn't know how the mod works.........., THX SIOUX again.

BTW if You read this HARLEYBROTHER - I have some news - found 6 MHz more on my core (see SIG) but no time for 3D run at the moment......... ;)
