My 3dmark01 score seems low to me. Is it just my bogged down xp install or what??? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Yeah, a bit...plus Nvidia cards don't generaly do that great in 01 plus if that's an older Win XP install that could explain it.

Have you tried a fresh install? And trying out different drivers?

set LOD to high performance. 61.34 drivers worked best for me for '01 for dragothic tests. also, did you enable 16p/6vp on the 6800 nu? i think 66.6 was the best drivers for nature.

your memory timings are also pretty high, you should try to lower them ;)

What are your graphics clocks? Unlocking the pipes/shader, LoD+3, fresh win 2k + DX8.1 install, and the 61.34 drivers will get your score MUCH higher.

When i ran 3dmark01 they were @ about 416/870 I unlocked the other shader. When I unlock the pipe I get artifacts (doesnt crash though but looks like disco heaven) Im trying to get erm.. buy win2k from somewhere ;) How much more do you think my score would improve???
I can't realy do to much about my memory timings tho. :(

that was my everyday setting with my x700pro. 3dmark 01 depresses me becaus emy x800xl sucks ass, i only get 28k with my everyday settings :(

what's best:

a large divider with thight timings or
no divider and high timings (cas 3)

Mine is also really low...

I got a 18K

But under...

3DMark03 I got 12,335
3Dmark05 I got 5,332

Does that seem right?

that's what i got when i had a P4. your '03, and '05 scores are spot on, but your '01 is very low. you should be at 20k+ stock with your specs. make sure your at 5x ht in bios, and aa/af is set to application preference in windows.
