First Watercooling Setup

Currently I am running a venice 3000+ on a xp 120 with an idel temp of 38c and a load of 52c

I am planning to use the following

Blackice extreme II
TDX/RBX or a Swiftech 6002
and a Iwaki 30d Rxt-115nl that i got for 60$ :D

I am planning to add a GPU block in the future.

Please rate my watercooling setup

That'll be okay. Get a bip3 with low noise low cfm fans for quiet ness and the same price.

should i get a bxII with 2/4 high cfm fans or a BXIII with 3 low fans?
would it be better to get a push and a pull or just a push/pull

BIX are good with high cfm. BIP are good with lower cfm. Don't use Push/Pull as it doesnt work/isnt worth it. Only pull are thru it, dont push either. Get the bip3.

um.. with that pump i would suggest a BIX3... its more expensive but the pump is massive and will dump alot of heat into the system.

also the pump u got doesnt have much head pressure. it has ultra high flow but it is pretty useless for watercooling..

okay so a BIX II with 2 115cfm Panaflo fans should do the job right?
and 13.4 headpressure isnt enough? :confused:

13.4 is plenty but the pump wont be doing u any favors... its heat dump will be counteractive to performance. just dont expect as high of flow rates as u might think.

i really like the TDX.,.. its a great block.. although with your pump nad rad you may want to run an RBX

Blackice Xtreme II (57) or Blackice Pro III(44)?
Can someone recommend a cheap/good fancontroller for the Panaflo 115cfm fans?

Go to a NEXXXOS XTREME III 360, instead of BIX3, it's cheaper and i thinks the temperature difrence is almost null ;)

sike the restriction on the nexxos radiator is about 4x as well as it being more expensive for those in the US... bad idea...

sunbeam fan controller is the best i know of.. its 20 bucks at any online retailer.

I would probably go with the BIP3 over the BIX2..

and yes get the nozzles for the TDX.

Yeah got pics of your case? Fitting a BIX2/3 can be a pain.

im fitting it outside the case with the pump cuz i dont think its all gonna fit in a antec super lanboy

Edit: One last thing which nozzle do i use on the TDX?

ya. localy produced products are generally ALOT cheaper than ones produced overseas. this is the case with EU to USA and USA to EU..
