I'm just wonder since they run cool and (questioning) can you pump that much juice thru them (unlike XPs)?

Be gentle if I'm mistaken.

Most definitely is worth watercooling the A64/X2s.

alot of winchesters its pointless. but if u got a good chip it serves its purpose.

the real advantage with watercooling is that you're able to pump more vcore to the cpu for more stability... I notice alot of people saying they can do 2.7ghz with stock vcore but I rarely seem them actually prime 12+ hours...

idle users, i pump 1.66 volts through my winnie on stock cooling.. lol.. though i must admit its only running at 2.3... yes it maxes there..

With the newer San Diego's it's definitely worthwhile.

With the Winchester's AMD had a CPU that didn't respond exceptionally well to better cooling, not even phase change, but as CPU's have rolled on that just seems to have been a temporary blip peculiar to that CPU core type.

i didnt see much change in OC on my winchester from an slk-948u to a dangerden TDX, but san diegos seem to lap it up... as for the older a64 cores they seem to respond fairly well to water too, but to a lesser extent than the san diego.
