How much did you get it for? Retail comes with headphones and mouse pad but im not sure if its for both dvd and cd versions.

I never had a controls menu problem, and the game runs fine on x800xtpe and 6800gt.

i got the dvd version, found my key just fine. This is a great sequal to the whole battlefield series, i love it, it fits in very niceley.

Me too everytime you try and sort by pings it freezes pretty much everything freezes in the menu :( Hope its fixed

Yeah I tried online, with the demo, and it was pretty bad at times. I would get hardlocks in the browser. I plan on buying the game though, as soon as I get the fund to do so.

i think killing the vehicle is so easy why would you want to just get the driver, snipe the gunner off the top then take the whole thing with explosives.

How are the bots in Single Player? I heard that they are a lot better than the abysmal ones of BF1942 and BFV, is that true? Because if so, that would be great.

I was so looking forward to this game and I think all the hype that came with it had a lot of people chomping at the bits for it. Now that it is out, it doesn't live up to the hype. A major disappointment but still fun to play.

3700 newcastle/9800pro/512mb ram and i cant even have a enjoyable frag in medium settings. This game is a monster resource hog and a killer on my rady. Gotta get my hands on a x800xl soon...

they always will be a joke, oh well i bought it to play more online anyways. I like it, i cant turn everything on and run at a good framrate, it kinda sucks, i need to get some ram that will work 1:1 with this CPU, maybe that will hold me over until r520.

you can shoot them when they are in a vehicle if you shoot where there is no glass, but I have as of yet been unsuccessfull in shooting someone through glass and killing them.

I'll try some more in single player (multi on 56k is :slapass: ).

runs very smooth at 1280x960 full details (no AA), but 1152x864 allows just a tad more headroom for larger firefights etc.

Played... found out I can't really play 1600x1200 with my X2 @ 2.6ghz and X850XT PE 640/600.... hmmm... hmmm... (below 30fps on certain scenarios)
1024x768 seems to avg 70 fps which is enjoyable. Now, will the new 7800s do 60fps 1600x1200? I wonder.

Horrendous shadows are fixed in the 77.x whatever driver came the game. Shadows look fine on recent ATi drivers ...

people are setting the graphics incorrectly causing the shadows to pixelate horribly.

I did the same thing my first time though.. the trick is to set your resolution then crank each option individually because changing it to "high" with just the one option below resolution can change it back to 1024x768... depending on the steps you take..

kind of dumb but easy to get around.

Click multiplayer, and dont move the mouse for about 20 seconds.. just let it do its thing.

yea im having similar issues, if you dont do anything and let it "work" it seems to clear up fairly quickly, i dont like not running the highest settings though.

Refreshing server list is a pain.... And not having a fav list is annoying as well. Scrolling through list lags big time whats up with that?

On a side note, the commander console is really well done. Calling in artillery every 1 min rocks!

i haven't had any problems. i run everything on High, except for Lighting which is on Medium. for some reason when its on high i get graphical errors. its wierd. no overclock either. it must be a driver problem. oh and AA is 6X. w/ all that on i average about 30 - 55 fps depending on how busy the fighting is. and the res is 1280x960. great game though. i love it. although i hate the multiplayer browser thing. boooooo

ive been playing the passed few days, retail version. my freind plays on another computer of mine right next to me. the comp he uses is a a64 3200 @ 10x 230 2-2-2-5 2x512mb. video card is a 9500 soft mod to 9700. plays the game just as good as my a 64 11 x 230, 9800p 2 x512mb 2-2-2-5. mine loads up maybe 5 sec faster then his, thats it.

a couple unhappy issues with the game.
The menu for FINDING a game is junk. i cannot get it to find a server when i type in the server name. sometimes when i type in a map name it shows all sorts of other maps. this makes it hard when we are trying to join the same game

Do we have XS server? :P I wouldn't mind getting in action with fellow XSs. As for comment about memory, once you start using high texture, 1600x1200, etc, requirement ramps up rather fast. I couldn't play the game at my standard @ 1600x1200 on x850xt pe, but I can do so now with 7800 gtx. One time, I thought I screwed up royally with choppiness and found out I took out 1gig of memory to test few things out. (put back to 2 gig and all is fine)

im not really having any issues with the browser. its not perfect but its not really that big of a deal... are u guys seriously having issues with it? or just not impressed? mine seems to work ok after liek the 4th or 5th time i sort, if i give it 10 sec or so each time. also when searching for games, that ur freind is on, put in the server name and the level, i always find it that way. if i just put a server name, i get 900 results
