I thought the 'GTX' was the new 'Ultra' or am I mistaken?

Nope, the GTX is still the GT....the Ultra will come out AFTER the R520 is finalized.

::NOTICE:: These video cards are in stock (4 at the time writing 06-22-05), but we don't have any control over the stock of this product. So, keep in mind that these cards might be out of stock, after you order. NO charges are made until the item is shipped.

better hurry! :slobber:

$615 a nice price for a GT ?

Thats expensive! Will that be the retail price or will the price lower?
If that will be the retail price, then are we expected to see a raise in price for each new card that releases?
The leap from a x850xt to a x850xt-pe for +$50 was too much to ask for just a few Mhz, now they are asking more, both nVidia and ATI?

nvidia pulls these stunts a lot. they release ultras only because ati offers some serious competition...

let's recall:
8500 > GF3 so they released titanium version making the 2 companies almost equal in performance.

they pull the same stuff with a 5800 and 5900 Ultra as well as the 6800 Ultra
