guys which hdd can i bought?

i sold my beloved 160gb sata hitachi for 120$ :slobber:

so i can buy a 160gb sata II hitachi or a 200gb sata II wd

I think western digital is a bit better company, but they are both good so the question is how much copacity do you need, you should be able to answer that, I decided recently to save a few $$ getting a 200gb drive rather then a 250 because I probably wont even get that high with what I do.

i love my hitachis. never given me a problem and they're always quiet. i haven't worked with any WDs recently, but i'm sure they're fine.

i luv my hitachi but i cant find the 250 sata II from hitachi @ newegg so i think i will go wd they are fast ??? it worth the extre 40$ or just upgrade my 160 sata to 160 sata II

WD > Hitachi in quality. If you can find a WD alternative for a Hitachi product, be it SATAII or whatever, go with WD...they're just better quality.

I was originally going to replace the Samsung SpinPoints in my guide with Hitachis but found Egg has WD SATAII drives in stock...so they're going straight into the guide :) .

wel perkam wd > hitachi i dont know my raptor sounds a lot and my hitachi is ultra quiet very nice i love it but somebody is going to pay 120$ for it so im more than happy and i just can put 10$ more and buy that nice wd 200gb and sata II (ncq too i guess)
